School Sites Committee — price $3,000/Acre .rticle 14 Article 33 — purchase land Police & Fire Pension Boardof Selectmen — 8:55 p.m. Estimated tax rate a little higher than we hoped. Cherry sheet under estimate this year. We may not get $12,500 anticipated from State for sewers. Article 68 Article 72 — unfavorable action Article 71 $13,000 Article 84, 85 reduce Article 4 — some differences remain Law Dept. expenses $3,600 Conservation Committee expenses Health Dept. expenses $9,873. Police Dept. $31,850. Police parking meters — recommended $400. Widening Mass. Ave Eliminate parking and stopping. Hunt block must be removed (Mr. Greeley) Project $40,000 for damages of Aunt Block, Trani, and Baker, and construction of complete project New construction on Hunt Block — estimate total income $298,725.93 Meeting adjourned at 10:50 p.m. Fire Commissioners @ $10.43 p.m. Amendment to Art. 4. They are going to ask for $11,000, ef:ective April 1. Basis salary of $6100. 10 additional men asked for this year. Each man to receive $290 more per year.
