Selectmen to move $180, 000. Should Appropriation Committee go
along with it?
After much discussion, motion carried (7-1) to have Chairman
move to cut appropriation request to $132, 380 for bus service
from Sept. 15, 1980 to June 30, 1981 and let Transportation
Committee decide how to handle cut in dollars (reduce hours
of service, raise fares or any combination thereof) .
Discussed Reserve Fund request of $7, 000 for Police and Fire
Medical Expenses - Acct. #1125 .
It was moved and seconded and carried unanimously.
Reserve Fund balance is now $101, 752. 46 .

Discussed use of "free cash" - $750,000 under Article 51.
Reviewed amount ($91.30) of Estimated Tax Rate shown on blackboard during Town
Meeting. Agreed to reflect changes that now indicate $91.80. Use of only
$750,000 "free cash" would increase this to $92.70.
