1. Presented two Reserve Transfer requests:
( 1 a. To Account #1090 - Gen. Prof. Services - $3000 - voted favorably
b. To Account #5450 - Road Mach. Expenses - $20,000 - voted favorably
Balance of Reserve Fund is now $108,752.46
Joined at meeting by Dave Williams and Jerry Frick of Conservation Comm.
Discussed Article 37, - Request for $70,000
" 38, - Additional funds needed - $20,000
" 39 - $100,000
40 - Hope for agreement on $9,000 or will skip it
Rejoined by R. Hutchinson, Town Manager, to discuss:
Article 27 and Article 28 re: Solid Waste Disposal
Low bid of $510,000 by B.F.I. for complete trash pickup and disposal.
Would eliminate transfer station and reduce landfill budget to a
closing operation.
Mini-Bus to ask for $100,000.
Human Service Center costing $570,000 to be Bonded - if Town Meeting approves.
