1. Discussed article 24 - DPW equipment request for $16+,500.
ry confirmed earlier decision to go along with only $84,500 but not
80,000 for front end loader to replace compacter.
2. Joined by W. Grush and T. Wenham of assessors regarding article 33 -
revaluation request for $179,000 to bring total appropriated to
$240,000. Low bidder, Systems Technology Inc. , have not been able
to give firm commitment of who they would assign to town to do appraisal
work if they got job. R. Cataldo asked "could letter of withdrawal be
obtained from them". After much discussion and many questions
Appropriation Committee voted to endorse request of $179,000.
Question of garbage pickup was discussed in case combination trash-
garbage collection failed in reconsideration. Appropriation Committee
in favor of garbage pickup.
