R. Hilton discussed Article 7550 - Library expense budget for 1980 which
is total of S25 less than appropriated in 1979.
Former article of "State Aid" not to be a separate article because state
now specifies this an offset item (reserved for library) on the cherry •
sheet.
Need for complete budget of library, which would include all trustee and
state funds and how they are to be expended.
M. Coscia brought in reserve transfer for bleachers.
Reviewed: 1. 1st part in budget last year to fix them.
2. Closed bleachers after graduation.
3. Came in for $10,000 for bleachers for half of 2,600 seats. _-
4+. Have spent 59,657.
5. Need of S15,000 for completion because "A" frames need
fabrications.
Question of putting $15,000 as a Reserve Fund or should it be put into
an Article was discussed.
Refer to Town Counsel for discussion.
It was moved and seconded to transfer S15,000 from the Reserve Fund
to complete high school bleachers :
2 yes -- 4 no -- 3 abstained
Vote to reject transfer
8 yes -- 1 abstain
