APPROPRIATION COMMITTEE
DATE: January 28, 1978

I . PERSONAL SERVICES BUDGET
It was moved and seconded by the Appropriation
Committee Members to approve the Personal
Services Budget in the amount of $5,027 , 798 -
up 6%.
SO VOTED
II. ARTICLES
A review of the Articles was made by the Committee and the
following comments were made :
1. Article 29 - The Appropriation Committee does not
believe further study money is necessary. (in-house?)
2. Article 32 - recommend formation of a Study Committee
appointed by the Board of Selectmen.
* 3. Article 35 - Voted: 2 in favor -- 5 opposed. This Article
will be dealt with in a supplementary report to be issued
prior to Town Meeting.
4. Article 6 - Voted 2 in favor - 5 opposed. This Article
will be dealt with in a supplementary report to be issued
prior to Town Meeting.
5. Article 25 - $24, 000 was approved.
III . APPROPRIATICN COMMITTEE REPORT
The Committee prepared their report to be incorporated
as part of the Town Warrant for 1978.
Meeting adjourned at 5:00 P.M.
Next meeting is scheduled for Monday, January 30, 1978 at 7:30 P.M.
