Room 111 PRESENT: Donald White, Chairman, George Silverman, Vice Chairman, Richard M. Perry, Secretary, John Blaisdell, William Dailey, Martin Gilman, Mitzi Kutchin I . BUDGETS A review of Expense Budgets was made by the Committee and the following points were made : a. Account #3330 - Replace - more information needed here. b. George Silverman to contact the Board of Health re the charge incurred with rabies clinic - maybe a fee should be charged here? c . Library parking lot will not be metered. d. Account #3900 - reworking meters - raising basic fee to 5¢ - $20,000 per year income . II . MINUTEMAN REGIONAL VOCATIONAL HIGHSCHOOL Present: Robert Jackson a. Budget up $200, 000. — b. As of October 1977 enrollment - 192. c . Mr. Silverman asked Mr. Jackson if he felt that the Administration was doing all they could to control costs? Mr. Jackson stated "yes" , I really feel they are . d. Chairman White stated that the Appropriation Committee would oppose any increase in personnel at any level -- especially with the declining enrollment. e . There is a possibility that the building of an access road out to 2A could result in additional funds. III . BUDGETS a. Account #4150 - where are we heading re fire alarms as far as their use is concerned and their possible removal? b. Account #7550 - Mrs. Kutchin was asked by the. Chairman to get in touch with Mr. Hilton re the increase in postage. c . Mr. Campbell is to get back to Mr. McSweeney re micro-film urgency this year. d. Mr. Blaisdell stated that he felt there were too many amounts that were not justified. Mr. Dailey stated he felt that there should be "NO" increase of any kind in any budget.
