Furash, Chairman, Donald White, Vice Chairman, John Blaisdell, Secretary, Mitzi Kutchin, Martin Gilman, Patricia Hagedorn, Howard Levingston, Peter Hall, Richard M. Perry, Comptroller, Ex-Officio I. RESERVE FUND TRANSFER It was voted to transfer the amount not to exceed $5,000 to Account #5500 - snow removal SO VOTED II . BOY SCOUTS OF AMERICA The Appropriation Committee welcomed Troop 139 of the Boy Scouts to the meeting. III . PERSONNEL BOARD A report from the above Board was received by the Committee and placed on file. IV. RECREATION The Appropriation Committee will go foward with Article 44 ($60,000) and will indefinitely postpone Articles 35-36- 37-38 and 39. V. RESOLUTIONS The following resolutions were approved: a. Collective Bargaining b. Local Aid c. County Government d. State mandated programs VI . TOWN MEETING 1977 Chairman Furash stated that he was going to speak very briefly at the opening session of Town Meeting due to the fact that the predicted $92.60 is an outrageous figure. If the Town Meeting wants to they could remove more money from the budget. As for the school budget, I see no reason why they cannot go with a zero base budget. We cannot afford to go into next year spending any more than this year, the Chairman stated. 280 VII . DPW Martin Gilman stated he felt that the pickup truck did not look too bad to him.
