AGENDA - November 18, 1974

9:00 P.M. - TMMA - Mr. Spencer
II . CABLE TV
This was discussed briefly with the Committee. Mr. Gilman
does not feel that we are ready to jump into this right
now. Mr. Levingston stated that a public service channel
would be an advantage to the Town.
III . TRANSFER REQUEST
Town Report - Original cost of printing last year was $6800.
Mr. Zehner has been encouraged to seek professional help should
the town volunteer help not pull through. This year it will be
necessary to print State primaries and State elections thus
increasing the report by 28 pages. The cost of this will
run $8500. Mr. Zehner stated he still hoped to keep this a
community project thus ruling out professional help and felt
that $8500 would be sufficient to cover the entire cost.
Town Manager O'Connell stated that $1,000 would cover the cost
of outside help if necessary.
Upon motions duly made and seconded it was VOTED by the Board
of Selectmen to transfer the amount of $1500 to Account #2525.
IV . FINANCIAL SERVICES PRESENTATION
Mr. Perry stated that he was in dire need of 1 additional full 4
time person. six month bills - W-2 Forms, motor vehicle excise
bills have created much more work in the Department Mr. Perry
stated. Retirement work has increased greatly and may very
soon require a full-time person. Mr. Perry asked if over-time
would help here and he stated flatly "NO" .
