I . GENERAL
a. Library - Letter from Selectman Bailey regarding
possible salary increases. Chairman Furash noted
receipt of said letter without making a commitment.
b. Personnel Board
The Appropriation Committee, Board of Selectmen and
the Personnel Board met to discuss further and future
developments and plans :
Members ares Paul Sidman - 3/31/77
John Butler - 3/31/77
W. Neil Chapman - 3/31 76
Nichlols La Fauci - 3 31/76
Wm. McGonagle - 3/31 75
The subject of a Personnel Director was discussed very
briefly as the Board is planning a meeting with Town
Manager O'Connell to future planning.
c . Mileage - Down Some . Increase in cost is primarily
due to the increase in cost of gasoline.
d. Reserve Fund Transfers
1. It was moved and seconded that the sum of $10,000
be transferred to Account 3800 Police Department
Expense .
2. It was moved and seconded that the sum of $500.00
be transferred to Account 4200.
3. It was moved and seconded that the sum of $2,591.95
be transferred to Account 5700.
e. Memo from Selectman Kenney re opening of Town Meeting
next year. It is hoped that this could be completed by
the beginning of the Bicentennial Celebration. Chairman
Furash stated that two things depended on this :

1. scheduling of budgets and
2. keeping Warrant down.
f. Memo from Town Manager O'Connell re Town Advisory
Council was distributed to the Committee.
