II . REYQRTS GT�' CPEN ARTICLES
l. �ne Firemar� - 1�1r. Burnell stated that they were still
goin�; for this additional man with a Captain`s rating.
Mr. Burnell also sees no abjection to this, hQwever�
Chairman Furash feels that this still needs investigation
to see ii a commitment has been made .
2. �chool Committee - Don. hhite is �;oin� to arran�e for a.
meetin� betvreen Commit�ees . Jane Bertchold thp r.e;v
Chairman of the School Commi�tee has expressed desire
to discuss open matters further arid the Chairm�n sees
this to be advisable . ,Y�r. White emphasized that they
have beeiz deing their work very di1.i�;ently of recent
weeks. '�ransportation and 766 are two areas of great
discus4��.on at the moment. Chairman r�urash made the point
that there axe many people in the Town that do not feel
they are �ettin� the Education they would like ar are paying
for:
;. Dog Kennel - �,�r. Blaisdell saw T1;r. P.icSweeney and got the
specs on the above . He sees it a a redicul.aus plan at the
moment. Pieeds more informatian.
4. New Trucks - This area needs further inforr�ation as well.
6 new trucks are wanted and i feel the 17PVJ needs a whole
new pro�ram, l�ir. Blaisdell stated.
5. Sidewalks - l��rs . I-Na�edorn reported that I�':r. TY=cSweeney has
no plans or specs yet. This includes I�"ass . Ave . , Clarke - -
and P��ussey Streets $92,000--$94, �00 for Cement - �12�,000
�13�� 000 for brick.
