Mitchell, Vice Chairman, Elizabeth M. Flynn, Secretary, J. H. Blaisdell, Levi G. Burnell, Howard L. Levingston, Richard M. Perry, Comptroller I . REORGANIZATION FOR 1973 SEASON a. Mr. Burnell made the motion to renominate the present group of Officers. Upon motions duly made and seconded the above motion was VOTED. b. Chairman Furash stated that due to the large job to be done with the School Committee, he would like to nominate someone from the Appropriation Committee to attend the School Committee meetings on Monday nights. The entire Committee felt that Don White would be the most likely candidate for this job. Upon motions duly made and seconded it was VOTED to elect Don White as "Vice Chairman - Schools" . c. At the suggestion of the Chairman, Jack L. Mitchell was appointed to work on the "Personnel Board" . d. It was requested by the Moderator to have someone from the Appropriation Committee serve as liason to the Bicentennial Committee. Mrs. Elizabeth M. Flynn was appointed to work here. II . CAPITAL EXPENDITURES COMMITTEE Present: A. Scigliano L. Zehner - Town Treasurer R. Kingston K. Buttersl- Town Meeting Member G. Silverman L. Whitman The main issue of discussion concerned bonding of the Library. Mr. Zehner feels that a 10 year financing would be his best recommendation. Mr. Silverman was of the feeling that we should 1 22 go for no less than 10 years and no more than 20 years. Mr. Butters made the point that he felt it was time that the elderly and people on fixed incomes shoud be helped. Chairman Furash indicated that his feeling would be to ask for 15 years on the library and then go short on the others; i.e . , 15 years library; 5 years sewers. Mr. Zehner and Capital Expenditures then met with the Board of Selectmen to discuss the above in further detail. Meeting adjourned at 9:15 P.M. Respectfully submitted, ';44-1‘,L;e_46-1 Elizabeth M.
