Campbell Sally Castleman and Sara Arnold of Transportation Advisory Committee appeared before committee and presented proposal for a Lexpress Budget of $197,500. W. Tonaszuck, Dir. of Public Works discussed the following: Art. 33 - Repairing of streets with Chap. 90 Funds. Borrowing in anticipation of State funds is 75% State and 25% Town Funds - over 25% for this is in highway operating (street paving) budget. ($150,000 from State and $50,000 in highway budget.) Art. 40-Street Acceptance - of subdivision streets, 1st part of article -. Second part of article for Acceptance and Construction: Priority: 1. Garfield St. - $40,000 needed (10,000 betterment charges) 2. Meadowbrook Ave. - 16 homes ($37,000 betterment charges) Wellington Lane - $172,000 needed 3. Spencer St. - $15,000 needed ($10,000 betterment charges) 4. Emerald St. - $73,000 needed ($14,500 betterments) Art. 41 - Reconstruction of Hancock St. - (Adams to Burlington) Total $450,000 includes 25% of town funds.
