• Discussion of the Liberty Ride program for Fiscal 2003
• MOTION: To support the amendment to be offered by the Tourism Committee
rescinding the amendment approved on March 26, 2003, which included the
Liberty Ride within line item, 7300 Economic Development. Failed 7/2.
• Further discussion of how the Appropriation Committee should report to Town
Meeting. D Brown will speak to the issue. The remarks will be predicated on the
presentation to be made by R Canale, Tourism Committee.
• Discussion of the separation of duties between fund raising and accounting for the
program
• Confirmation of the unanimous support for Article 81 at the amount being
recommended by the CEC,which allocates $30,000 for the ADA issues at Fire
Headquarters.
• MOTION: To support Article 14 which will authorize the use of$30,000 of the
$50,000 appropriation made under Article 8 of the 2000 ATM. Passed 8/1.
