• Discussed the proposal for ADA improvements at Fire Headquarters
• Discussed the need for accessibility at the East Lexington Library.
• MOTION: Support Article 81 (Building Envelope) at $240,000. Buckman Tavern
Roof$60,000, Cary Hall Improvements $150,000 and ADA Improvements
$30,000. Unanimous
• Discussed Article 16, Skate Board Park Improvements. Olga Guttag, from the
Skate Board Committee stated that the Recreation Committee would recommend
$30,000 from the Recreation Fund. O. Guttag explained the process by which she
hoped to be bale to simply purchase the materials and have volunteers erect the
fence as well have the landscaping work donated. There will be some clinics
offered for which specific insurance will be purchased by the organization
conducting the clinic.
• AC concerned about who will be responsible for maintaining the park.
• MOTION: To support the request of$30,000 from the Recreation Fund. Passed
6 Yes, 3 NO
• Discussion of possibility of separating out 7300 Economic Development from
Article 4 until the Liberty Ride issue has been resolved.
• MOTION: To support the D Kaufman amendment to the MIS budget request.
Failed 3 yes, 6 No.
• MOTION: To support the Solid Waste Coordinator' position. Unanimous
