• MOTION: Approve minutes of February 13, 2002. Unanimous.
• Next meeting C will need to take position on articles.
• General discussion on preparing the AC Report to Town Meeting. Keep
appendices in the same order as last year. Will assist in comparisons.
• Discussion of the Special Town Meeting.
• MOTION: Support Road Reconstruction ($7,000,000). Unanimous.
• Conservation Land Purchase to be determined later.
• Lincoln Park Fields ($3,400,000). General discussion of the Recreation
Committee committing funds to offset some of the cost. If the Recreation
Committee makes no commitment the AC will not support. The fields are used by
the schools (55%) and private organizations (45%).
• General discussion of the Secondary School Project at the Diamond Middle
School and High School. R Eurich attempting to gather more information.
• Elementary School Project(Harrington/Fiske). Unanimous support
• General discussion of Article 4. E Michelson discussed the MMRVHS request. P
Hamburger discussed health insurance and the reduction in the Interest on
Temporary Loans requirement due to the very favorable interest rates receive on
the BAN's issued in February.
• MOTION: Support Article 33. Use of Funds to reduce the Tax rate. Unanimous
• MOTION; Support Article 8. Capital Projects and Equipment. Unanimous.
• MOTION: Support Article 9. Water Distribution System, Unanimous.
• MOTION: Support Article 10. School Technology. Unanimous.
• MOTION; Support Article 11. School Capital Project. Unanimous
• MOTION: AC does not support the Computerized Public Tree Inventory.
Unanimous
• Article 13 Muzzey high Condominium Repairs. Pending
• Article 14 Amend Quitclaim Deed-Muzzey High Condominium. No funds
requested therefore no AC recommendation.
• General discussion of Article 28, Resolution-Use of Appropriated Funds.
Question as to whether this should be an AC Article. P Hamburger will discuss
with the Moderator. Motion: Approve Article 28. Unanimous.
