Present: P Hamburger, R Pawliczek, D Brown, K Dooks, A Levine, E Michelson, R Eurich, and J Ryan Also Present: R DiGiammarino, G Burnell • Minutes not available from previous meetings • Discussion of Summit IV, which took place on January 16th. Discussed the proposed "gap"reduction as presented by the Town Manager. The proposed"free cash" solution is to leave the 2002 Annual Town Meeting with the same balance as we left the 2001 Annual Town Meeting(use approximately$367,000 of additional free cash to balance the FY 03 budget request. • R DiGiammarino discussed the supplemental request being made by the SC for additional work required at the Diamond Middle School. The SC has been ordered by the Special Education Appeals Board to make modifications for ambient noise at the Diamond Middle School. The work will consist of 5 classrooms and an additional 5 support rooms (i.e.: art, music etc.) The estimated cost for design and construction is $ 1 million. • General discussion of the proposed elementary renovation/new project. • CEC will be asking the proponents of the Lincoln Field improvements to attend a meeting to discuss their proposal.
