• General discussion of the Town Meeting agenda for this evening
• Town Manager will make a list of proposed cuts but will not support them.
• Change to PAYT will allow for a barrel label at a cost of$65 for a period of six
months.
• A Lazarus may propose that there be 50 bags issued"free of charge".
• P Hamburger distributed and discussed his "Notes for Comments to the BOS on
April 30, 2001 re: Revenue Neutrality". Majority of AC supports revenue
neutrality. Concern over passage of future debt exclusions and general operating
overrides. Majority of AC is concerned about a possible back-up plan if PAYT
were to be rescinded. Majority of AC requests that the BOS work with the SC to
meet a goal of revenue neutrality. AC also urges the BOS to clearly state where
they anticipate the community going in the future with PAYT revenues.
