Motion: Nominate J Ryan as Secretary. Seconded.Unanimous
• R Pawliczek discussed recent"gang of 8"meetings. BOS and SC attendees at the
meetings are in agreement that there will need to be an override for Fiscal 2001. What
are the expiration dates of contracts for long term budget planning?Discussed
possible override of$ 3.5 million($3 million for operating and $ 500,000 for jump-
starting a capital program). General discussion as to how the revenues will be split.
Do the BOS have an explanation as to how they arrived at the $ 3.5 million?
There have been cuts every year for the past 5 years by appropriating less than
requested. Should the AC come up with an override number independently of the
Town Manger and BOS?
• General discussion of the upcoming joint meeting of the BOS and SC on Tuesday,
July 27, 1999 at the Museum of Our National Heritage @ 8:15 a.m.
