* Present: P Lapointe, M Miley, M Mairson, L Peck, R Colwell, R Borghesani, J Ryan
* Absent: R Leone, M Hastings, J Pagett
* Also Present: N Cohen
* P Lapointe discussed the updated situation with the MMRVHS and the letters addressed
to all Town Meeting members dated April 17th
* N Cohen discussed issues surrounding the MMRVHS assessment and appropriation
* General discussion of the School Department appropriation request
* Concern expressed over J Dini's ability to defend $ 162,500 request from "free cash"
* General discussion to support appropriation to MMRVHS @ $ 424,087 or $ 8,832 less
than being requested. There are 16 member communities. If 2/3 pass the reduced
appropriation the assessments are then final. If 1/3 or less pass the reduced amounts the
MMRVHS School Committee must re-do their budget
* P Lapointe notified the AC that M Hastings had notified NM Battin that she was
resigning from the AC
* General discussion of the Library appropriation request
* General discussion of Art 22, 24 and 25
