Feels that it is better to put parts of programs or departments at risk rather than putting entire programs at risk. * D McKenna stated that she will not present her proposed amendment to Article 4 as long as she felt that the Chairman of the BOS (William Dailey) would publicly sate he support of the override and actively work for its passage. * General discussion of the proposed amendment followed. There was no support from the AC for the proposed amendment. General feeling supporting the frustration experienced during this budget process but the way to address the problem is not with close to twenty departments being put at risk with no rational way of arriving at the number appearing on the override. * Motion not to support the proposed amendment. Unanimously opposed with one absent. * General discussion of Articles 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 30, 34. * Motion to support Article 18. Unanimous, one absent. * Motion not to support D Kaufman's amendment. Unanimous, one absent. * Motion to support Article 34. Unanimous, one absent. * Motion to adjourn. acmtmyl
