* General discussion of Article 4 with no specific votes taken
* General discussion of Article 5, no vote taken. Discussed the need to tie the Article 5
vote to the vote on Article 34, "free cash".
* General discussion of the apparent overall confusion as to where we are at. The general
consensus being that next year needs to done differently.
* General discussion of the presentation to be made by the AC at Town Meeting. Use a
limited number of overheads: (1) School Appropriation, Fy 95 vs Fy 96, (2) Town
Appropriation, Fy 95 vs Fy 96, (3) School and Town in total Fy 95 vs Fy 96, (4) Revenue
estimates Fy 95 vs Fy 96, (5) Revenue less expenses equals income, (6) Free Cash.
* J Pagett suggested that the Town Manager and Superintendent supply the AC with a full
accounting of all the increases and decreases which have taken place since the original
submission of a budget to the BOS
* General discussion of the presentation to be made by the AC to Town Meeting, most of
which will be retrieved from the AC report. Fiscal Realities, Spending, Taxing and Capital
Investment. The Framework of Understanding, Allocation of Costs, New Initiatives, and
Long Term Planning. Improvement of the Process
