Prior vote was 6Y, 1N, 1 Abstaining, 1 Absent. Request will be for $ 1,600,000,down from prior estimate of $ 1,850,000.7 Pagett explained difference is due to bids coming in lower than expected and the use of NE Telephone underground conduits vs overhand. * MOTION to reconsider Article 15 PASSED: UNANIMOUS * General discussion followed. S Nablo concerned that the approval for boiler repairs at the East Lexington Fire Station will be a commitment to preserving service from that station and will adversely effect the possibility of regionalization. G Burnell echoed S Nablo's comments specifically in the area of regionalization. * MOTION to support Article 15 PASSED: MAJORITY (8/1 abstaining) (GB) * General discussion of Article 16, Ambulance purchase. Prior vote re-affirmed * General discussion of Article 20, Stabilization Fund. Prior vote re-affirmed * General discussion of the AC's position on Article 4 and the use of "free cash" in conjunction with Article 34. * General discussion as to the level of "free cash" to be retained at the close of Town. $ 1,000,000??
