Discussion of Reserve Fund transfers:
$31,000 for Police Personal Services due primarily to long term absences as a result of "duty
injuries"
$60,000 for Police & Fire medical claims. Fiscal 1993 was an exceptional year for injuries
in both the police and fire departments.
$9800 for Town Clerk Personal Services. Funds required due to backfilling in Clerk's office
as a result of a long term illness.
$114,000 for Fire Personal Services. Due primarily to heavy overtime costs associated with
the need to maintain minimum manning during time of duty injury problems, dispatch and
command training, and the snow storms of the past winter.
$30,000 for Fire Expenses. Funding required to pay for the Gants Report as a result of the
Dempsey murder.
Transfers discussed and approved.
