General discussion on spread sheet of November 17, 1986
- as prepared by Town Manager showing six year history of appropriation,
revenues and tax rates
- discussed the $591,921 Tax Levy Reserve for FY 1987
- tax levy reserve should serve to help protect future town tax needs
- thought should go into how tax levy reserve will ultimately be expended
- general discussion regarding the establishment of a stabilization fund
and the purpose for which funds can be expended from the Stabilization
Fund
- concern of committee expressed over the percentage increase in personal
services vs cost of living
- entertain concept of suggesting a flat percentage across the board in-
crease for all town departments
- concern over school costs - specifically per pupil costs
- discussed distribution formula
