The following election officers had been apnointed by the
Selectmen and were assigned to duty at the two Prec nets as.

The polls were declared oven in en cY- Precir at at two P . M .
and remained open in each Precinct until nine o ' clock P . M . at
which time after due notice they were closed .
The election officers were sworn to the faithful performance
of their duties . The ballots were courted. b7 the election ofaers
in each precinct , the tally sheets and total vote sheets prepared
by the Town Clerk being used .
The ballots cast were counted , enclosed in envelopes , sealed ,
signed by the election officers , ' together with the unused ballots ,
delivered to the Town Clerk nt his office .
The Town Clerk canvassed the result as follows :
