Frank T. Parrish, Jr. , Chairman of the Board of Retirement met
and advised the Appropriation Committee on the question of funding
the Retirement System.
Motion made and approved for a Reserve Transfer of $10, 000 to
Acct. #1125 Fire & Police Medical Expense account.
Committee discussed having a later date for Town Meeting. Recommen-
dation to Board of Selectmen to hold Town Meeting 5-6 weeks after
election.
R. M. Hutchinson, Jr. , Town Manager, joined the meeting to discuss
the problem of overtime in Police and Fire Departments . They will
need $70, 000 to fund this problem. Funds should be requested from
the Reserve Fund, per Appropriation Committee.
Meetings will be scheduled for Dec . 7 and. Dec. 14 at 7: 30 P.M.
