Arlan, B. Marshall. OBSERVER: M. Williamson, Lexington Independent Discussed revised F.Y. 1982 budget proposal. MOTION: "not to exceed amount of $300,000 of $354,366 that budget exceeds revenue. Cut Lexpress $207,000 and balance of $93,000 from additional revenue. Committee met with four members of Board of Selectmen (J. Crain absent) . All expenses and Article requests in new budget proposal approved by Board of Selectmen with the exception of $15,000 M.V.M.H. (tabled) Appropriation Committee suggested Board of Selectmen cut back to $354,366 "short fall" and cut it from budgets. ,VOTED: To reduce "Free Cash" appropriation to $625,000. Reserve Fund Transfer voted: $7,500 transferred to Account #1800-Law Expenses. Respectfully submitted, Richard M. Perry, Secretary
