PRESENT: G. Wadsworth, J. Campbell, R. Perry, B. Marshall,
G. Silverman, W. Dailey, P . Hall, M. Kutchin.
Discussed Article 13-Section 5 By-Law of Appropriation Committee
Report being distributed to each household vs . making it available
to all interested parties at the Town Office Building or at the
Library.
MOTION: Voted not to change Article 13. Defeated 4 to 3 .
MOTION: Voted to change Section 5 of Article 13 of General
By-Laws as follows : carried 6-1 .
The Committee shall prior to each Annual Town
Meeting for the transaction of business , prepare,
publish and distribute by making copies available
at the Office of the Town Clerk, and at the Main
Library and Branch Library, and by mailing to
each elected Town Official, including Town Meeting
Members, a budget showing in detail the anticipated
income and expenditures of the Town for the then
current year, together with its advice and recom-
mendations with reference to the various appro-
priations of the town funds, and other municipal
matters coming before such Town Meeting. This
publication may be combined with and distributed
at the same time as the Capital Expenditures
Committee Report.
Robert M. Hutchinson, Town Manager, joined meeting and presented
philosophy of 22 and gave over-view of his proposed budget that
he will submit this week.
