Kudos to all TCC Members for the splendid Veterans Day Program, especially for the successful (again!) Car Parade, the Lexington High School essays, and the artwork from both LHS and Minuteman Tech! - Thank You's to be sent out by the respective subcommittees: Car Parade/Glen; Breakfast Gift Cards/Glen; LHS Essay Contest/ Mary& Sue; LHS/Minuteman Art/ Mary & Sue). Lessons Learned: - Hang signs on the VIP cars. Need stronger tape for those signs. - Need to be more clarity as to exactly where the Car Parade ends. - Cars move too fast in the Parade; slow the pace down. - Need more coordiantion of Volunteers. With 50 Scouts participating, there were not enough jobs for them to do! - Close both sides of Mass Ave for better viewing and safety's sake. - Have more markers on hand. - Volunteer Photographers need clearer guidelines about what photos are preferred. - Placing the 12 cones is a 2-person job. - Dunkin Donuts Gift Cards: Town very helpful. - Essay Book a bit of a chore, but well worth the effort per Sue. LHS is firmly invested in this project. As are both LHS & Minuteman in the Art Projects. - Sandy felt her PR effort hit all the important bases. Recruiting: A prime focus for 2022. We need more hands to pitch in! 7:44 PM: Meeting Adjourned. Next Meeting: January 12, 2022. Respectfully submitted, Gresh Lattimore, Secretary
