Open Session Minutes LEXINGTON MA
November 16,2020
A remote participation meeting of the Lexington Board of Assessors was called to order at 6:00 p.m.on Tuesday, November
16, 2020 via Zoom remote meeting services.The Meeting was publicly posted for 6:40 p.m. but experienced delays due to
technical issues, Gregory Johnson, Chairman, Edmund C. Grant, Member, Casimir Groblewski, Member,were present as
well as Robert F. Lent, Director of Assessing and Sandra Pentedemos,Administrative Assessor.
Chairman, Gregory Johnson stated the remote participation meeting is being held in accordance with Governor Baker's March
12, 2020 Executive Order suspending certain provisions of the Open Meeting Law to allow remote participation during
Massachusetts' State of Emergency due to the outbreak of COVID-19.
Mr.Johnson provided instructions to the members of the public,who were watching or listening to the meeting via the Zoom
application regarding the procedure of making a public comment.

Public Comment Time: None Present.
Mr. Lent presented discussions and review of the Preliminary Fiscal Year 2021 Informational Tax Classification Packet being
presented to the Select or Meeting presentation occurring later in this same evening on November 16, 2020.The Board
reviewed each class of Residential, Commercial, Industrial and Personal Property assessed values and each Exhibit within the
packet.
There were no discussions of Financial Issues including Overlay Fund.
There were no Fiscal Year 2020 Chapter 59 Section 5 Statutory Exemption Applications.
There were no Fiscal Year 2020 Real Estate Abatement Applications, nor were there any Personal Property Abatement
Applications.
Mr. Lent presented the pending Appellate Tax Board litigations for discussion.The Board is unanimous 3-0 in favor of the
terms of the settlement agreement presented by the parties and support the efforts from the Town parties Mr. Lent,Assessor
and Attorney Anthony Ambriano,Assessors Counsel,to countersign the terms of the agreement. (See Executive folder).
The Board postponed discussion of previous Meeting Minutes.
The Board of Assessors next Meeting will be held on November 30,2020 at 6.00 p,m.
There being no other business a motion was duly made and seconded at 6:55 p,m.to adjourn the Meeting.
