The contractor explained the proposed changes on barn demolition.
The board felt these plans in exception of doors were appropriate and an improvement to the look now.
Motion was granted and seconded to issue a Certificate of Appropriateness for exterior changes to 812
Massachusetts Avenue on the condition the applicant comes back for approval of the door.Motion carried,
all in favor.

Chair Eccles opened the formal hearing for 443 Massachusetts Avenue, exterior changes in the East Village
Historic District
The owner signed the continuation letter to reschedule this hearing to next HDC meeting on November 4, 2021.
The board agreed to move it to next HDC meeting on November 4, 2021.

The architect explained the proposed changes on additions and exterior changes.
Abutter: David Rothfuchs (20-22 Spencer St)
He was concerned about the distance from the Spencer Street to the garage door. Architect specified it
would be 65 feet. He also asked if he would put up a fence or plantings on the property line for privacy reasons.
Architect agreed to do this.
The board felt these plans excluding exterior painting colors and barrier plantings were appropriate and an
improvement to the previous submitted plans.
Motion was granted and seconded to issue a Certificate of Appropriateness for exterior changes to 977
Massachusetts Avenue on the condition the applicant will come back for the garage doors and paint colors.
This certificate will include the plantings along the property line.Motion carried, all in favor.
Chair Eccles opened the formal hearing for 1312 Massachusetts Ave, exterior changes in the Munroe Tavern
