HomeMy WebLinkAbout2021-07-14-CPAC-min RECEIVED Iui °m COMPREHENSIVE PLAN ADVISORY COMMITTEE IIP°° �5 p TOWN CLERK MEETING MINUTES LEXINGTON MA September 14, 2021 The Comprehensive Plan Advisory Committee (CPAC) meeting, held virtually through Zoom, could not be officially called to order as a Public Meeting due to a lack of a quorum. CPAC Members Present: Chris Herbert, Co-Chair; Larry Freeman; Rich McDonough; Hema Bhatt; Leonard Morse-Fortier; Sarah Felton, Co-Chairjoined the meeting at a later time. CPAC Liaisons Present: Bob Creech, Liaison of the Planning Board; Melanie Thompson, Liaison of the Planning Board; Mark Sandeen, Liaison of the Select Board Staff Members Present: Carol Kowalski, Assistant Town Manager for Development; Amanda Loomis, Planning Director; Molly Belanger, Land Use Planner Consultants Present (Co-Leads): Daphne Politis, Community Circle; Martha Lyon, Martha Lyon Landscape Architecture I. Meeting Opening The meeting was not officially opened as an Official Public Meeting as a quorum was not present. 11. Overview of September 21st Housing Public Forum Daphne Politis, Community Circle, asked the CPAC to discuss what went well during the event and what could be improved for next time. Many CPAC members highlighted successes of the event. • Martha Lyon, Marthy Lyon Landscape Architecture, discussed the agenda for the forum and announced the speakers, Elizabeth Rust of Regional Housing Authority, Judy Barrett, Ms. Lyon, and Ms. Politis. Co-Chairs, Chris Herbert and Sarah Felton, will also participate in the forum to introduce the speakers. • Ms. Lyon and Ms. Politis discussed the forum poll questions and presentation data with the CPAC. III. Next Steps • Ms. Loomis discussed the LexingtonNext.org website and public input survey opportunities with Social Pinpoint, which are surveys available on the website. • Molly Belanger, Planner gave the CPAC an overview of the current survey responses on Social Pinpoint. 1 The Comprehensive Plan Advisory Committee (CPAC) meeting of September 14th, 2021, ended at 8:54 pm. A motion was not needed to ajourn as a quorum was not present to call an official Public Meeting. 2
