Meeting opened with the reading of the September Meeting Minutes, and approved. 2. Halloween Balloon Han2in2, Friday, October 29th 11:00 am -THIS FRIDAY The following people have said yes to being there - Oliver DiCerbo, Camelia Attassi, Marilyn Swinger, Elena Sabin, Sandy Raman, Charlie Swan, Nicholas Keim, Hobie Swan, Ella Thomas, Sohpia Lupone, Kennice Brennan, Tasneem Ghadiali, Hannah Kieval, Amelia Shair, Nina Arnold, Adeline Favazzo, Ava Tamaro, Julia Dalal, Serena Caira, Maya Benet, Izzy Barbesino, Regina Tashjian, Madelyn Lucente, Ella Lucente, Skylar Spencer, John Kefalas, Anna Kefalas, Andrew Lawrence - Members who are heading up Town at 10:55-11:00 please meet at the QUAD, as quickly as possible. Departure time is 11:05 walking up to Brookline Bank in Depot Square, back door, located at the back Center parking lot. - Members who are going up later, please head to the Brookline Bank back door, you can get your balloons and delivery information there. - They will have pizza for you! - You have to get signed out of school by your parent if you are an underclass person, or will be gone longer than your lunch period. - If you have signed up and cannot make it, please send a text to Maddie, Regina and Andrew to let us know if you cannot make it ALSO in addition Mr. Michelson is in need of help any day this week from 9:00 am - 6:00 pm if you have a free block, or after school. If you know friends who need community service hours, reach out to them. The job is to insert the valves into the Balloons. The Location is Michelson Shoe Store in the Center. This job will take 2-4 hours,the more people the less time. If you are interested please feel free to head up there this week and help out! 3. Veterans day parade 11/11 -We will not participate this year, it is a very abbreviated event due to COVID. Shannon and I would like you to take this opportunity for self-care and relaxation. 4. Lexington Food Pantry Fundraiser - Saturday, November 13th - We handed out 8-10 bags to each member, to be filled by family, friends and/or neighbors. At this point you should have all your bags out being filled. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR BAGS ARE OUT and being filled. We are hoping for the same success as last year! - We will be collecting, sorting, and repacking, and delivering to the Food Pantry on Saturday, November 13 from 12 - until done at C&W. - We need 100% participation on Saturday November 13th from noon until done. Discussion on what we can do for our Seniors in Town. Deb discussed the senior luncheons not being held due to COVID. We need to brainstorm ideas on a project we can do for our Seniors. Finally, we discussed the Turkey Drive, Children in Need and Cradles to Crayons, more info to come at the next meeting on WEDNESDAY, November 10, 2021 at LHS Library Media Center.
