Approved. Reports/Updates • 475 Bedford Street (former Boston Sports Club) easement request. Keith reported no change in status. The developer is expected to be in front of Planning Board soon. 0 Jefferson Drive Trail Connector to Burlington Landlocked Forest. Keith reported that the engineer for the development has completed the permit application for the Lexington Conservation Commission with an appearance scheduled for October 25. Mike will represent GCC. Plans are to complete the permit for the Burlington Commission in time for their Oct 28 meeting. Mike hopes the trail to be built with help from NEMBA and Friends of the Landlocked Forest shortly thereafter. • Wayfinding Sign project. The signs have been installed at all 16 locations. They were designed by Mike, installed by Stephen, Bob, and Keith. The project is considered completed. • Bridge School Boardwalk. The build has been completed under Mal's direction. Mal will be planning additional work to realign the approach trail later in the fall, labor to be provided by GCC and other volunteers. • FY23 Program Improvement Request. No new developments. GCC will be submitting their planning map for new trails for inclusion. New Business • Bike/Ped Plan Statement. The statement drafted by Peggy and Keith was approved by vote for submission to the Select Board. Mark encouraged coordination of similar submissions by other committees such as Bicycle Advisory, Transportation, and Sustainability to increase impact. Peggy will undertake forming a multi-committee task group to further this effort. Interested GCC members should contact Peggy for details. • Goal Setting recommendations to Select Board workshop on October 12. Peggy and Keith will represent GCC. Goals discussed included requests for funding specific trails outside Route 128 and more Conservation Department staff hours to support, including preparation of Land Management Plans. • ACROSS Lexington - proposed new routes. Discussion of loop and lollipop options of incorporating Turning Mill Pond and more of Willard's Woods, linking to Route A, based on the field trip of October 2. Discussion of a loop trail options in the Manor Area linking to Route E on the Bikeway.
