Recorded by LezMedia AGENDA ITEM SUMMARY LEXINGTON SELECT BOARD MEETING AGENDA ITEM TITLE: Vote Updated Legal Boundary Description for the Approved Reprecincting Map ITEM PRESENTER: NUMBER: Mary de Alderete, Town Clerk I.1 SUMMARY: The Town of Lexington was contacted by Census Specialist Uriel Molina, from the Secretaiy of the Commonwealth, Census Division on October 28�for an expanded description of boundaries within the Town such as more details to the shorelines/stream rivers/roads on the Official Map. The Assessor's Office has been working to complete the requested updates and anticipates being able to forward those to the Select Board as soon as possi`ble in order revote the approval of said boundaries in order to complete our submission to the State. SUGGESTED MOTION: Move to approve the Legal Boundary Descriptions of the 2020 Re-Precincting Plan for the Town of Lexington. This request requires broader details to the shorelines/stream rivers/roads on the Official Map as opposed to the voted term"nonvisible features". The Assessor's Office has been working to complete the requested updates and anticipates being able to forward those to the Select Board as soon as possible in order for the Select Board to grant approval of said boundaries to complete our submission to the State. None of the prior voted boundaries will be adjusted or changed—this is just to clarify and add greater description to our submission.
