The ACROSS page is not finished - a new map is still needed to complete the site. We need to check that the URL still works with the QR codes and fix it if it doesn’t. • Ruth Rose was very appreciative of the gift certificate to Artistry on the Green. Thank you, Susan, for taking care of that. Ongoing Business : Route E needs a few more signs. Keith has hardware and will complete soon. Our next meeting is February 1, making brochure printing for spring tight. Keith and Susan will work on the funding and brochure content/layout. Mike is working on an “office map” to correlate with the brochure map. There was discussion of how to get maps to people and people to maps. How many paper maps do we need? How easy is digital access? Discussion of loop routes versus connectors. It was generally agreed that loops are prefera- ble, but there will be some connectors, as too many overlapping loops would be confusing. Also, route letters should go on the arrow signs, not the logos, in most instances. Discussion of signage for ACROSS routes. What should be signed? Parking? Schools? Con- servation properties? Directional guidance? Should we tell you where you might be going as well as where you are now? Mike had examples of proposed Steward signage that will be rolled out on Whipple Hill and eventually expanded to other Conservation trails. For homework, think about signage options - where, what New Business: • none at this time Next Meeting : February 1, 2016, 4:30-6:00pm, DPW Training Room Future meeting dates: February 29, March 28, April 25, May 23, June 27 Future Agenda Items: - Certification of ACROSS Lexington Completion program update - Gil Benghiat - Easement/Town Access Project Respectfully Submitted by Alexandra Dohan, Secretary
