There was a lively discussion of the merits of pay by phone. Doug Lucente described the Select Board's thinking on this issue. Howard told us that he would be moving to Vermont this fall and expressed his disappointment with the Select Board's approval of the Senior Parking Program. Pam Lyons indicated that, arising out of an initiative of the Transportation Advisory Committee to take meaningful steps to support riders of the META (such as placing bus shelters at the 5 or so busiest stops in Lexington) she would be pursuing a bus shelter in Depot Square. Pam acknowledged the atrocious timing with regard to the Streetscape Project and her own culpability in this. Joe Pato suggested that she go to the Select Board and then the HDC with this proposal.
