Discussion items: Cary Hall Sidewalk: Mock -up currently being made for commission to view. Town Center Streetscape: Commission reviewed the design documents presented at the November 17, 2015 preliminary meeting on the proposal ideas of the center streetscape project. Focus of the discussion was on the paving, street furniture, interpretive opportunities and lighting. Traffic patterns and signals were not discussed. Commission recommendations and concerns will be summarized and sent to presenters. Resident Thomas Fortmann commended Commissioners for being open to the idea of a rotary instead of lights at the Bedford Street and Massachusetts Avenue intersection. Minuteman statue refinishing: There was public hearing, additional information is posted online in anticipation of future hearing. Guidelines and applications: New guidelines and application will be posted on new website for all future hearings /meetings. Demolition by Neglect update: The Commission voted to extend Chapter 19 of code to include Lexington Historic District. Going to request town council help at Selectman's meeting on December 14. 502 Massachusetts Avenue: Work done without certificate of appropriateness. Letter sent out for homeowner to come before commission. Visitor's Center: Meeting occurred to see preliminary presentation to determine what to do with the space. Chair noted that new structure in existing space seemed favorable. Will come for hearing in future. Approval of Minutes from September, October and November: All approved. 4
