Harrington site council neeting. One
was about homework policy and second
wEls about the Lexington school district
vision statement.
• The LexSBSC wants input about
homework policy from parents. Very few
parents attended the rneetrng and
offered feedback.
• Feedback can still be sent via email,
• Tbere was a discussion about
Professional [Jeveloprnent for teachers
in Lexington district and about
technology in dassroorn. Technology
related homework and its impact for
riirddle school and high schoo students
wre also discussed
• Parents had an opporturuty to meet the
new superintendent. She spoke about
her background and inducated that social
emotional issues such as school related
5tress will be here priority.

A final decision made was to upload the
PowerPoint presentation used during
the Let Chat session on to the
Harrington webpage
O Implications for next steps through the
survey data:
o Contexts for learning units (e.g.
differentiation in teaching math)
o Safety in the schoo (Five staff
members are attending m
presenting on ALICE protoco
and will report back to the
council).
° Council rnembers discussed the
staternent and made suggestions for
modifications.
