Wednesdays, alternate morning and evening meetings,
looking for input from all site council members; notes
are shared with members across schools; gain district
and town perspective.

council role: advise budget process; role in the
development of School Improvement Plan;
ensure health, welfare and safety of facility.

• Very important for people to stay informed;
• DiNisco Partnership doing a comparative study
of green space per school
• Question raised about staff opinion regarding
preschool being housed at Hastings;
professional educator opinion gives
horsepower to tax payer voice; conversation
about location and green space; can pose
questions to school committee; will mention
• Possibility of leasing space for preschool which
would open 4 classrooms at Harrington
• Possibility of redistricting committee with a
PTA and site council representative from each
school; to be discussed at 6/9/15 School
Committee meeting;
4. Lextended Day - timeline regarding whether
Bridge can become a 6th site, given we have a
waitlist of 30 at Hastings; reason Bridge doesn't
currently have Lextended:
• Bridge houses All Town Band so does
not have a program
• School committee growth from 75
policies to 300 policies; policies are
named is it updating of policy or as a
result of transition
• Adjournment
