more than 12 people are getting sweatshirts, the cost will be 30 dollars per
sweatshirt. Please bring the money to our next meeting on November 12th. Nobody
brought in any T -shirt designs, so we discussed using the old design from last year as it
was pretty good. We decided that the T -shirts should be navy with white writing. Lastly,
everyone gave their T -shirt size. We will let you know pricing shortly for tee shirts.
5. In November we have our Thanksgiving Turkey Drive. It will be after the Powder Puff
game on Wednesday, November 25th. Sean talked about how this is rewarding work and
that we should respect the privacy of the recipients by not talking about where we
delivered turkey dinners. Remember that you should only be a driver if you are legally
allowed to take passengers in your car. We will finalize at November 12 meeting.
6. We discussed the fundraising opportunities for the numerous holiday events this
December. At the Tree Lighting, on November 27 we will be handing out candy canes
and asking for donations. Additionally we will be fundraising at several of the concerts
this holiday season. Specific events are still to be determined but some options would be
the Holidays Pops concerts on December 5th, the Cary Hall Vienna Boys Choir on
December 6th, and A Christmas Carol on December 1 lth. On the weekend of December
5 -6 we will also be fundraising at Sunoco /Cumberland Farms. There will be two shifts
each day with 3 -4 per shift. Bring your calendars to November 12 meeting.
7. Lastly, we recapped the Island Clean -up in September. Thank you Karen for all your hard
work prepping the area before we got there. We also discussed doing two Island
Clean -ups in the spring, but no solid plans have been made yet.
Respectfully Submitted,
