1.to work on doing right thing as a class; when someone is noted will get a
Bridge Patriot slip, to collect as a class then get some reward i.e. extra
recess, walk to Lincoln Park

struggling
G.Peer Moderators
1.empowering the kids to solve their own conÑicts
2.4th/5th graders to be peer mediators when kids having trouble and cannot
settle it, will have peers (22 mediators currently being trained)
3.in January will roll out for school to see what it is about

H.Bronte brought up in her school in CA there was an emphasis on language, and
wonders about parent education/coffees so they can use same language at
home (she says it was helpful carrying over into the home)
I.Logical Consequences as behavior implication
1.difference between punishment and consequences
2.i.e. recent child vandalizing the bathrooms, researched what it costs to Ðx,
why it is not acceptable
J.ÅBuy InÆ is very important Ä parents, staff, students in order for it to succeed
1.using things that we already do, but making it consistent district wide

e)maybe move somethings to night events, a lot of working parents cannot
come to morning coffees
f)student handbook, then add online information
g)there is a huge, amazing series of programs in place and many parents do
not know that it exists
