HomeMy WebLinkAbout2014-12-17-LEXHAB-minJan 06 15 01:31p Has LexHAB 781 862 7979 p.1 Minutes of Meeting held on December 17, 2014 The meeting opened at 7:10 A.M. at the offices of LexHAB at 1 620 Massachusetts Avenue in Lexington. r Present were 'Board members Bill Kennedy (Chairman), Bob Burbidge (Vice- Chairman), Martha Wood, Lester Savage, Gerry Howell and Bill Hays. Also present were Norman Cohen (LexHAB's liason to the Board of Selectmen), Pat Nelson (LexHAB's counsel) and Bob Pressman. Bill Kennedy chaired the meeting. 1. Minutes: The minutes for the November meeting were unanimously approved. 2. Financials: Gerry Howell presented the most recent spread - sheets. Gerry noted that expenditures for our unit number 7 at Parker Manor were higher than ordinary as this was the unit that was recently flooded. Through mid December, outlays for repairs were $10,139. 3: Busa Farm Project: It was noted that Steve Laperrier from Metro West and Carter Scott are working on the DHCD application for the project. 4. Fairview Avenue: Pat Nelson reported that the agreement with Carter Scott's company is about to be signed Bob Pressman asked how many of the Fairview units would be filled on a lottery basis. The arrangements for same were presented. 5. Parker Manor: Jan 06 15 01:31p Has 781 862 7979 p.2 A. Pat Nelson reported that most of the work necessitated by the recent flooding has been completed. She noted that the condominium Trustees are working to present the new monthly maintenance fees that will be needed to restore an adequate reserve for repairs of this kind B. It was also noted that LexHAB will submit to the Trustees our own out -of- pocket expenses relating to the flooding for whatever reimbursement may be forthcoming. 6. Leary Project: There was general discussion of the project, during which it was noted that the number of units to be built on the site has yet to be determined by the Selectmen and that as a consequence, this project is likely to follow rather than precede the Busa project, 7. Next Meeting: The next meeting will be held on January 14th at 7:A.M. at the offices of LexHAB at 1620 Massachusetts Avenue in Lexington, The meeting adjourned at 8: 04 A.M. Respectfu y submitted:
