At the beginning of the meeting we had the pleasure of meeting Emmanuelle DuFour-Depollier, (thanks to Marie-
Tristan). Emmanuelle has a “Home-Baked Tarts, Tartlets and Cakes” business in town. She brought a wonderful, large
cake for us to sample, and gave out her cards to insure our future enjoyment of French desserts. Her Website ---

A photograph was taken of the members present for the Annual Report
Financial Update ---Treasurer’s Report of 3 November 2014 shows no new income or expense items.
Email communications and the Open Meeting Law --- the group engaged in a lengthy discussion about many aspects of
the law: responsibilities/requirements under the law; meetings exempted from the law; establishing membership for
purpose of having a quorum, and other details. Also, there was consideration of and reflection upon the history of the
Antony Working Group becoming a sub-committee of the Lexington Tourism Committee.
Future meeting dates through June 2015 were established: December 10, 2014; January 8, 2015; January 21, 2015;
February 4, 2015; February 25, 2015; March 11, 2015; March 25, 2015; April 9, 2015; April 30, 2015; May 13, 2015; June
10, 2015. Important dates to note in calendars are:
March 14, 2015 --- Voyages en Francophonie (Saturday); May 30, 2015 --- La Musique en Fete (Saturday).
Minutes of November 5, 2014 were unanimously accepted as amended.

Minutes of June 11, 2014 and April 10, 2014 were deferred until next meeting, December 10.

Tony raised a question regarding method and timeliness for posting of minutes on town website. Dawn’s response was
that she is in the process of reconciling minutes from all Tourism committees meetings and posting them on the Town
website.
Programs
a)Holiday Party on 12/14/2014 --- Christina will get in touch with us through email invitation
b)Voyages en Francophonie on 3/14/2015 --- Marie-Tristan described several aspects of the planning so far:
partnering with schools; Consulates getting involved; countries represented; expected presentations etc . . .
c)A French A Faire --- not yet scheduled. Discussion focused on: location of the event; baseline costs; most
productive ways to raise money; having the same style of fundraiser as in the past; possibility of changing to a
more low-key social event; possibility of not having it at all in 2015. Final decision deferred until the December

10meeting.
d)La Musique en Fete on 5/30/2015 --- discussion deferred until a later date.
Antony Park Update
a)Project Overview and Review --- Nothing has happened yet. The second group contracted for Phase I has not
shown up. Dawn reported that DPW will take the trees, plant them where they belong, be responsible for
paying for replacements if they do not survive.
b)Financial Summary for Antony Park --- Income and Expenses sheets were presented by Dawn and discussed.
c)Future phases --- Artwork (central focal piece) and Maintenance These will be reviewed and worked on at a
future meeting.
d)Fundraising goals for 2014-2015 --- TBD
