includes several photos documenting parade participation, trading cards, and
it is now in google drive under "Report ".
LCO Grant Application

location over to the Community Center for a gallery space.
Membership
Would like to connect with music, dance, drama or literature. Discussed
Monday meetings versus other days. Monday still works for group and other
days have assorted conflicts.
Old Business
Website / Blog
Zoe, Matt and Diana will work on the blog and plan to meet next Tuesday at
noon.
Review of Grant Proposal Workshop
Zoe shared that the meeting was held at the Arts and Crafts Society. Several
people attended, including people who were applying this cycle. Matt and
Cristina also attended.
Jean Hart was commended for doing a great job with promotion. This year,
we did newspaper, email and fliers. She also sent to high school arts too.
Suggestions are to do some promotion further in advance, to consider some
kind of email list collection, and to consider holding it in June. Diana has
started a database that includes all prior applicants. She will move it into a
contact sheet and put it on google. We will revisit this at November meeting.
New Business
Request for LCA Subcommittee
Leslie Masson moved to support an affiliation with the Golden Tricorne
project where LCA will accept funds designated for the project, keep track of
these funds, including processing reimbursements. Golden Tricorne will
acknowledge LCA as "Golden Tricorne Committee in partnership with
Lexington Council for the Arts." Lynne Klemmer seconded it. It was
unanimous.
Comments on Lexington Pocket Park design proposal
Cristina attended to learn about the proposals for Grain Mill Gateway. There
were two proposals and the group received input. The refined version was
not received perfectly, so further refinements are underway. Leslie Masson
also attended the meeting.
