Dear Mr. Hopkins,
Since my last email dated December 11, 2014, I am pleased to be able to
report that Bechtel Frank Erickson Architects has decided to withdraw their request
for relief from 521 CMR 25.1 Entrances. They have communicated to me that
they wish to make the front entrance fully accessible, and they provided me with
new plans delineating this.
The Commission on Disability supports the proposed changes in the
drawings, providing for a fully accessible front entrance. We hope to continue to
be involved with this project as it develops.
