The plans presented showed due consideration for all inside building areas to be fully accessible. However, there is no room for on-site parking, and this area has limited handicapped parking. Given that with the new building there will be even more intense utilization of medical services in this area, the Commission would like to request that the Board of Selectmen implement the following increases in handicapped parking: One HP-designated parking spot on Muzzey Street o One HP-designated parking spot on Raymond Street o At least two additional HP-designated spots in the municipal lot, one o of which should be van accessible The Commission feels that the proposed increase in parking spots should be considered when reviewing the plans for the new building. Sincerely, Victoria Buckley Cc: Traffic Advisory Committee, Fred Lonardo, Linda Vine, John Farrington, Todd Cataldo 1625 MASSACHUSETTS AVENUE • LEXINGTON, MASSACHUSETTS 02420
