The Commission on Disability reviewed the renovation plans of the
unity Therapeutic Day School on January 9, 2014, as presented by Dr.
Hauptman. The renovations will be done on a back building which has two floors.
Each floor will have handicapped access y t t
he two floors will not connect to
each other. The way the building's floors will be used does not necessitate
internal coniiectiron via an eievator, which would be impractical and too
expensive.
The Commission is in full support of the renovation plans to keep the two
floors separate. We thank yo for coming to us to discuss these ,Lns. Please let
