To whom it may concern
The Lexington Commission on Disability fully supports the plans for Hancock United
Church of Christ in Lexington to become more accessible We have carefully reviewed the plans
presented to us by the architect, Don Mills, of Mills Whitaker Architects The Commission is
pleased that the plans include ways to make all areas accessible by creatively linking floors by an
elevator installation as well as paying attention to all entrances and parking. The solution
proposed for the back entrance of an inclined wheelchair ramp and lift also meets our approval
The Commission is pleased to be able to support this project that embraces the spirit of
accessibility in making public and pnvate buildings feel welcome to all Please feel free to
contact me if you have any questions
Sincerely,
Victoria Buckley
